C > C1 AND V > ABS(C1 < C2) * V1 AND V > ABS(C2 < C3) * V2 AND V > ABS(C3 < C4) * V3 AND V > ABS(C4 < C5) * V4 AND V > ABS(C5 < C6) * V5 AND V > ABS(C6 < C7) * V6 AND V > ABS(C7 < C8) * V7 AND V > ABS(C8 < C9) * V8 AND V > ABS(C9 < C10) * V9 AND V > ABS(C10 < C11) * V10

If we use Dollar Volume instead of Volume, we get:

C > C1 AND V * C > ABS(C1 < C2) * V1 * C1 AND V * C > ABS(C2 < C3) * V2 * C2 AND V * C > ABS(C3 < C4) * V3 * C3 AND V * C > ABS(C4 < C5) * V4 * C4 AND V * C > ABS(C5 < C6) * V5 * C5 AND V * C > ABS(C6 < C7) * V6 * C6 AND V * C > ABS(C7 < C8) * V7 * C7 AND V * C > ABS(C8 < C9) * V8 * C8 AND V * C > ABS(C9 < C10) * V9 * C9 AND V * C > ABS(C10 < C11) * V10 * C10

My lessons from trading

– the trend is your FRIEND! Don’t go against it until you see a base!

-cut your losses at 10% max or else you’ll lose your account twice like you did in 2015

– don’t fight the fed and monetary policy, shorting during QE is a bad idea

– when your pattern setups no longer work, it means the market is getting choppy and trend less. Don’t try to go for those setups anymore. Or reverse them for small gains (2015)

– commodity cycles can last MUCH MUCH longer than you think, they can beat you up and when you think there’s enough blood in the streets to get back in, it can beat you up again (coal)

2016 strategy overview

  1. But wholesale and sell retail with patience using channels and patterns. Look into getting back to HPS setups.
  2. But if most channel setups are failing, the market is probably in a mixed state and just take what the market gives you, short those setups and get out quick.
  3. Trade on sector fundamentals, supply and demand factors, and other macro economic factors
  4. Look for high growth super stocks and get aggressive on the magic lines.
